After reading reviews saying it's like someones private collection in a back garden I was a bit hesitant to visit. But due to another zoo being exceptionally bad I decided to give BestZoo a shot...and im very glad I did! BestZoo is everything I like in a zoo, quality over quantity. The stars for me are the only Common Kingfishers in Europe in captivity and they're a breeding pair, the four Sri Lankan Leopard Cubs, and the Black Jaguars. The Keepers were very friendly and talkative. Will definetly go again next time i'm passing by. It's also a good price to get in! The parking is a large parking area next to electric pylons a couple hundred metres down the road on the other side of the village and is 2 EUR. This is paid by coins going into the exit barrier.…

Small but very nice zoo with a balanced selection of animal species, especially suitable for families with children. They have big plans for the future by the way; the park will be doubled in size.

The zoo is ideal for toddlers, not too big, but big enough for a nice family trip. Located in the middle of the zoo is a great big playground, with two large trampolines surrounded by soft carpet, quite save for your jumping adventure. As it wasn’t too crowded, I could even jump with my little one together. On a small terrace you can have your own picnic or affordable typical Dutch snacks, poffertjes, fries or ice cream at the kiosk. The fish in the aquarium will watch you during your snack. Next to the terrace you will also find a changing room. Close to the playground, the children’s favorite animal, meerkats, crawling through a glass tunnel you can observe the animals very closely during they are playing. No zoo without a Petting zoo, kids can cuddle with guinea pigs and rabbits. Unfortunately, the enclosures are quite small, but otherwise the zoo is very well maintained and makes a good impression. Very good small family run zoo. Great for children as they can get close to the animals (including a petting zoo area). Owners are busy working on new enclosures and improvements. If you are likely to visit more than 3-4 times a year then the annual pass makes good sense.

I went as a family group of 8, (2 Dutch speakers, the rest English). A real bonus was that they let us into a room where they allowed two 5 month old panthers to mingle with us. (This might be the last time they allow this because they will soon be too big to be safe). A keeper also came to tell us we could follow her as she fed the monkeys, and she told us about them in English.…
