Outrageously expensive for what it is - 500k vs 150k for normal bus. Scripted explanations from guides at the tunnels and museum, who can’t answer questions and speak bad English so you won’t understand what they are saying. Pictures from one museum re-used in the other. And ‘museum’ is a strong word - it’s a bunch of photos. You are rushed through so visiting each place is about 30 minutes. Stick with getting the normal bus and save money by dodging this tourist trap. Very disappointed to have fallen for it. There are FAR better places to spend that kind of cash in Vietnam.

We had a great DMZ tour with our guide, she had a huge amount of knowledge and could answer every question about the wartime in Vietnam. The Tour was very interesting and in addition they organized to pick us up directly from the night train arriving in Dong ha and after the tour they drove us to Hue, so we could have the whole day DMZ tour and save on a whole night for our trip through vietnam as we did not want to stay in dong ha

I booked last minute late in the evening, but Mr. Duy managed to arrange a driver and a guide for me. My guide was Ms. Thach and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. We talked about a lot more than just the war, but also about modern Vietnam. Her English is excellent. It was good that I had watched the Netflix documentation before coming to Vietnam. It helps visualizing how it must have looked like 50 years ago. The locations are spread over quite a long distance, so lots of driving was necessary to see all in 1 day. The car was in good shape and the driver was skilled and drove carefully. It was a very touching experience and to be honest, I had not much knowledge about the Vietnamese point of view before. It was so good to learn about it. The tunnels totally shocked and surprised me. It's genius, what these villagers built there, but the circumstances were so terrible, that it's heartbreaking to hear about it. I recommend this tour by heart. You will look at Vietnam with other eyes after visiting the DMZ.

My husband was really interested in seeing the DMZ and information surrounding the American war. It was really worth it and ‘Thack’ gave us quite the history lesson! Of particular fascination were the Vinh Moc tunnels. A super interesting day.

I wanted to take my dad on a tour of the DMZ, So he could see the places he was stationed in 1967/68. Mr. Duy is so knowledgeable he was able to take my dad to Con Tien, Camp Carroll, A2, A4 and more. He and my dad shared many stories about their experiences with the war. In addition to his immense experience and knowledge, Mr. Duy was able to recover a family members lost passport and return it to us in Danang. Thank you for everything! I highly recommend Mr. Duy for a tour of the DMZ.
