Small and curious bit more than 2 little room with local fossils as you would expect in this sleepy town of Savannakhet. More for educational purposes than real natural science museum in the West. $1.25 worthlessness to spend and contemplate the quietness
I visited this place with a high expectation because I'm Vietnamese and of course never seen before. Collection of the fossils is extremely diverse. Current status now in the museum quite low-invested. But tour guide is great of his knowledge he shared to us.
Hate to give a place such a poor review, but HONESTLY, there are two 10’ x 12’ rooms with maybe 8 showcase with bones and fossils. I was sure there had to be more to see, so I went back out on the reception area...More
Some of the other reviews are much too negative!! A small town in Laos with two rooms full of dinosaur bones, which you can get into for 10000 Kip each (85p or $1.20)
