Fantastic welcome and talent
Mar 2017 • Couples
wondrfully talented people. I have purchased various items from Vicky over the years. She explains every part of her process, but what really stands out is the welcome you receieve from this delightful couple.
Some years ago, I introduced my wife to Port Llwyd, she commented after the visit, that it felt as though she had just met two newly discovered members of her family.
Could not recommend a visit more, in magical surroundings.

Lovely pottery in a beautiful building!
Jan 2018 • Couples
Absolutely loved visiting this delightful little pottery. Such an amazing and friendly couple who self built a most delightful, beautiful and imaginative fairy tale style home and pottery. This is well worth a visit if you find yourself near Dolgrrog. All the pottery items were of excellent quality and hand made. We came away with a gorgeous little chalice but there was so much choice and they all looked so good, it took us a while to decide which one we wanted.

A CHANCE VISIT
Jun 2017 • Friends
Just as we were returning to Dolgarrog after a day in the mountains we stumbled on this magical little house and whilst weveral of the group were photographing the door, I heard a voice say "You can come up and look if you want". I joined the rest of the group and we climbed up to be met by the smiling face of Vicky, and then Philip joined us. We spent a good 20 minutes of so talking, looking at the wonderful pottery, buying a few pièces, and discussing how they had built the house (and barn). They even agreed to pose for a photo with us. A wonderful chance encounter that added to our day.

The best kept Secret in North Wales.
Aug 2016 • Couples
The house were the pottery is based is up hill and the approach is like stepping in to a "Fairy Tale" as the house looks like the "Ginger Bread House" on the out side but there are no "witches or Goblins" here. Only Vicky the potter and her partner Phil who loves the Trees and woodwork.
The pottery has a lot of pots , goblets, cups ,saucers and plates. Plus much more. The skill and friendliness of the couple is very warming. You feel as if you are part of the family. Please go and see for your selves how good it is !!!

Lovely people beautiful ceramics
Jul 2016 • Couples
Mt husband and myself visited here while on holiday in Wales and it was well worth the visit. Phil and Vicky are two of the most lovely people and explained how Phil had made the house / studio which is absolutely beautiful and unique. Vicky's ceramics are beautiful and there is absolutely no pressure to purchase anything I bought a few pieces as could not resist could have bought even more. We came away with smiles on our faces and would definitely recommend a visit

Wonderful people, beautiful ceramics
Jul 2015 • Friends
We stopped here on our way home after a wonderful holiday in North Wales. They were on their way out but Phil stayed to show us around and tell us about their wonderful house and studio which Phil built from scratch by himself. It really is a beautiful building and the setting is amazing, despite being the site of the Dolgarrog dam disaster. Phil has some wonderful stories and we could have stayed there all day if we didn't have to get home. Vicky's ceramics is lovely and we couldn't resist buying a few pieces to bring home.

All in all it is definitely worth a visit whether you like ceramics, unique architecture or just meeting two of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Worth a visit!
Sep 2014 • Friends
I popped in with my friend to have a look around on Saturday and was greeted by 2 of the most lovely people I have ever met! Vicky showed us how she makes the pottery and also explained about how her and her husband had made the house we were stood in and told us a little about the history of the area!

Vicky's partner also showed up their new garage he was building! Incredible people!

Me and my friend left extremely happy to have added this to our day and inspired to consider building our own houses in the future!

All of the pottery was beautifully made! I will be returning before christmas to get some gifts for the family!
