This was the best hike I have ever been on. The scenery was so breathtaking that you never knew how high up you were. They dis not speak English at the front of the entrance, luckily I was with my German friend.
Good hiking shoes recommended on rainy days. Slippery and some steep climb. But after a long walk if your slow, you will be rewarded with that waterfalls you see on the brochure. But we were not into that waterfalls,we just went there for a good walk...More
i must say that this Canyon is not so impressive. we visit it one time some years before and it was ok. its short and the way Bach not very interessting. Other Canyons which are not far away are much more better
I am from Brasov, Romania. One of the most popular hiking tours near my town it is the 7 ledders canyon. I should name Raggaschlucht the 77 waterfalls canyon... Much bigger, more waterfalls and a lot of stairs... Wonderful gorge!. Do not miss it, but...More
This place is an absolute must while being around. Pictures say more than words but despite looking dangerous the track is well maintained and accessable. You should take into account at least 1 hour of walk and climbing the stairs, so it might be complicated...More
Great gorge track.
This is a narrow, rapid water and loud gorge.
The track is very well maintained and the views are fantastic.
If you are in the region then it is a must see.
This track is worth a detour of one or two...More
Raggaschlucht offers an exciting climb over wooden bridges and boardwalks through an impressive canyon. The roaring water underneath the visitors, the dripping water from above make the walk spectacular. Free entrance with the Karnten Card. Sturdy footwear and at least average condition needed to climb...More
Compared to the Groppensteinschlucht is the Raggaschlucht much more spectacular.
In the Raggaschlucht you need at certain areas some protection cloth to avoid to be wet.
In total we spent approximately 2 Hours for the round tour, but it is worthwhile.
Make sure it's open. Forget time management, just enjoy it, have something warm to wear as the water is cold, the crack that you are walking in can be quite chilly, but then again the exercise is also keeping you warm :)
