Very nice beach with clean waters and no excessive people! Of course I always choose to visit beautiful beaches and off-season places because the crowd ruins the beauty of the place! The beach has pebble something that I personally like in relation to the sand.

A splendid natural beach and surroundings. With a quality canteen at its left side which respects the location and serves good drinks and snacks playing soft jazz and rock music which perfectly fits the nature all around. End of july and the visitors are so few. Hopefully it will remain like this. The crystal clean lake-like waters are superb.

Hands down our favourite beach in this part of Greece. Tucked away in the middle of seemingly nowhere. A couple of beach bars, lots of parasols for lounging around in. Calm, clear waters, perfect for a peaceful swim. We loved it!

Coming from Kyparissi, we drove down the new road to Fokianos. It is a very nice mountain road, winding with stunning views and good asphalt. The drive is definitely worth your time. We found the beach nice, but sadly (goes for Kyparissi as well) only pebble beaches and no shade. Use or bring an umbrella.

The first view of the bay from the mountains is absolutely beautiful. The beach it self is clean, the water transparently turquoise and you find yourself almost alone there. But from the beach you can see ( and hear) road construction work. The road is aiming for the beach locals told us. It is hard to believe that this is allowed, especially since there is a small wetland area adjacent to the beach that is a nature reserve for migratory birds. So visit when you are in the Poulithra area, and let's hope some authority will rescue this lovely spot

I visited Fokianos Beach several times since my last review. This time I noticed a great improvement in the facilities and restaurants. There is also a new restaurant. There are boardwalks leading down to the sun loungers and the umbrellas. There is also a shower on the beach. The sea is always calm at Fokianos but sometimes can be a liitle breezy which is a blessing if the day is hot.

This is a lovely beach--clean, quiet and serene. The taverns offer delicious, fresh, local cuisine. Also, the beach offers free lounges and umbrellas--such a treat. Also, there is a gorgeous new road from Fokianos that takes you to Kyparissi and Monevasia.

A unique seashore with blue-green coloured seawater!!!
Clean and stonyto make you enjoy the water and your contact with the water!!!Nice traditional restaurant in simply ways of service and offers!!!
The only disadvantage is the insects bees flying in late August time in some years ,making you feel feared of being stucked!!!
The nature really makes you feel its miracle!!!

I visited this beach first time in June 2017 and was very surprised how beautiful it was. The drive from Leonidio is about 25km with beautiful views of the Myrtoon Sea. There are two official restaurants there, Irene and Costamare. Both times we had lunch at Costamare where Mr Costas took very good care of us. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbreallas. Is is worth taking a little stall to the left hand side of the bay to visit the small hidden cove where some fishing boats are moored. Really enjoyed the days spent there. There is now the new road to Kyparissi starting from there.

The distance from Poulithra is about 25 km. The road by Greek standards is not bad, but you will have to drive up a mountain in a narrow road with a lot of curves.

Once you reach Fokianos however everything is forgotten. An almost empty pebbled beach with crystal clear waters, two tavernas offering the catch of the day at low prices and that's it.

Open your beach umbrella and enjoy sea and sun as it used to be for as long as it lasts, since a new road is build on the side.
