Taken our 2 year old Grandson with Family to the Family Zoo, all species of small animals, fish, Reptiles, and plants to see. They have fossils and the rare Prehistoric Pine tree found in Australia 1986. Great day for all family to enjoy, will go every time until Grandson grows older and want to see other attractions in the Netherlands.

Nice zoo for 1 visit. Sunday midday is very busy and zoo is rather small, so you have to wait to have a look at or feed. However there some variaties of animals and insects, the diversity is not so big. You can touch only chicken and rabbits. Nice for one visit but not twice.

There is not that much to see or do in Almere, but this place was the perfect day trip during a rainy day as most of the zoo is indoors. Nice collection of animals and the kids (1 and 5) really loved it.
