Nice place with an impressive greenhouse that is well ventilate using doors and windows. The food is top. The atmosphere in and around BAKKEHUSET makes it a really good overall experience. We stayed on site for 2-3 hours. I look forward to helping to establish the greenhouse as actually Orangeri.

You might not have much interest in this 19th literary salon but please don't miss the cafe which is a lovely spot to sit and relax in the summer. Recently diagnosed with celiac disease I asked if the waiter (who it turned out was American) if there was anything on the menu that might be gluten free. There was not be he very kindly spoke to the chef and I was able to have a typical Danish open face sandwich without the bread. It made me very happy to be to have this very special treat which is usually served on rye bread. Thank you so much, Bakkehuset!!

We stopped here while we were at the Carlsberg brewery. Not a very big place but interesting with the links to famous writers. Would recommend if in the area

At small historical museum displaying the lives among the bourgoisy in Copenhagen in the late 19th century. Nostalgic and interesting to hear about the influence of Kamma Rahbek and her husband on the political scene in Denmark.
