Tucked away in the corner of a small square is the entrance to one of the largest tunnel complexes in central Europe - 27 kms long. We took the classic tour, which lasted about an hour and was less arduous than the "adrenalin tour", which...More

We visited it last Monday and it was nice but not really amazing, the guide speaks only Czech but they give you an English audio guide at the entrance desk, the classic tour is basically stories and legends, nothing more.

The guides were the rudest people I have ever met. If you do go to Znojmo visit the rotunda, the old brewery, Hotel Bermuda is a must food and atmosphere is great. Don't bother with the underground trip.

We enjoyed our recent visit but unfortunately the grumpy staff spoilt it a bit for us. We visited with 3 children under 5 and nowhere advertised that children were not really welcome. The information board at the entrance listed that children under 5 were free...More

The tour is pretty interesting, and luckily you're given multi-language recorders if you can't understand Czech. Just two things to remember: the tours start on the hour, and you definitely need to bring good shoes and warm clothes (at least a jacket).

You can choose between 3 different routes. Having kids we opted for the easiest one but it was worth it. You discover there is a real underground town! Unbelievable!

We really enjoyed adrenalin tour n. 3. Sometimes you have to be little bent and step into a water...but its just something you can't experience every day and it is definitely worth it!

The standard trip through the underground is an interesting tour, especially for older children. The staff gives long explanations about the construction of the underground in the Middle Ages and its later use in peace (and in war). The corridors of the standard trip are...More

Really interesting tour (we did the classic), audio guide on fleek. Would have liked to do the adrenaline tour but it wasnt running that day hence the four stars. Bring a jumper, it's a bit chilly down there.
