Driving around in Cape Town at night feels to me like I am watching nightlife happening from a distance than that I am A blend of it... Driving at night (this is a way back way back REM), I am amazed that we can analysis where a place is. However, on the sunrise and of course during the day, the magic of driving through LIT up streets and viewing the lights...is way different an experience! There appears to be some confusion on the Trip Advisor blog. Is it Sea Point or Cape Point? The map marker shows Sea Point. The beach where the marker is is really nice, but very rocky in places. No life guard, so take care. Also, as with other beaches on this section of coast, there is a lot of kelp, so swimming is not great.…

I just loved sitting on the benches along the beach walk and see how the tides change and the waves toss to and fro. It is always clean and you can just enjoy the beach on any stretch of it.

If you’re here then you must go Cape of Good Hope. It does seem that everyone has to have a photo. You need to wait but if you go later you can get a photograph no problem. On route we came across a number of ostriches and their young. Which was lovely to see.

After experiencing the mobs at Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope it was a joy to get away from them (coaches can't get down here) and experience the peace and quiet of this lovely bay. The seawater pool was set in a beautiful spot and there was plenty of space for quiet sunbathing. Highly recommended.…
