I visited the fort out of season. Still the view of the sea and the surrounding area was fantastic. The fort is located at the very end of the beach and there is no entry fee. Within the fort is a museum, which unfortunately did not work. There are several fine restaurants close to the fort. This is a beautiful place worth visiting.

Great place to visit for the day. As other reviewers have commented, really unusual rock formations. We took a glass bottomed boat trip for 90 minutes which was good value and went up as far as Sveti Stefan. Very quiet little resort but worth a visit.

We stopped for a short time to walk the harbour however the beach was rammed luckily we didnt need a spot. We walked along the harbour to the ocean views. Small beautiful but very busy even for September. We stopped for an hour enjoyed an icecream then left. Not sure how nice and busy it would be if staying in the area. Nice little pit stop thought.

This place was amazing. The color of water and the rocks are very photographic. This is very near so it is easy to find. Recommended

Lovely area for a promenade and small climb up to the war memorial for wonderful views of the cliffs and islands in the bay . Many boat owners will offer you rides to the church on the island And round the bay - we paid 20 euros for the two of us and got soaked as the small boat was driven directly into the strong waves! I wasn't bothered but my companion felt it was done slightly maliciously on the part of the boat captain and as we were dressed for dinner it was a tad annoying ! Be careful of the hand rail on the climb up the steps to the island Church - very rusty and not to be used in angst! Start of a very picturesque 2km walk along the cliffs beyond war memorial to a small bay . Many lovely street cafes.

The quay is a hive of activity all day long with a restaurant with tables, people fishing and tourist enterprises such as glass bottom boats and jetskis and water taxis. Water is amazingly clear.

A pretty little corner to the bay with pleasure boats operating at reasonable prices. Local bars and restaurants also very pleasant.

Montenegro is a truly beautiful destination and Petrovac is a lovely destination. The quayside is good for strolling round and there are many places to eat and shop. I hope to return to this gorgeous country again one day.
