We had a lovely family day out, kids loved the play area and some lovely walks and trails. We took a picnic but did pop in cafe for ice cream and food looked lovey and reasonable prices.

This is a nice place with a good sized car park - which you have to pay for and a much cheaper option than the more sophisticated High Lodge nearby. Actually if you are on a bike then park here and cycle to high lodge....More

You need some coins for the parking, there's a small Ponte with ducks and fish you can walk or bike. Grab your pic nic basket and a book all-year open and interesting in each season.
