Himara has several beaches, however none of them beats Livadh. Livadh is a beach that offers the basic facilities you'd need, crystal clear waters, and is moderately crowded. However I wish it had more public space if you wanted to take your own umbrella particularly in times of COVID. Nevertheless this is generally a problem in all Albanian beaches. Otherwise it's a fantastic beach.

Popular beach as you can park there. There are restaurants and shower facilities too. Great place to watch the sunset

We stayed at one of the many pleasant places to stay along the long sweeping beach. It's a stony/pebble beach which makes getting in and out of the water a little harder than a sandy beach but the few days we spent there it was beautifully quiet and the water still and crystal clear. There are plenty of shops and places to eat. Like most of the coast, it's not particularly developed and this is a good thing! Enjoy.

This beach used to be amazing and one of the best - clean, clear and quiet. Now it is a complete mess, unfortunately. The water still has its clearness but the beach is not great anymore. There is trash all over the place, people let their dogs pee and poo all over the place and the lack of respect for anything or anyone is long gone. People just don’t care and it shows. The public beach near the camp ground is overrun with dogs and trash. The hotels offer some better areas to sit, and they are full of families with children. So if you are a family you could consider this beach if you don’t mind the dirtiness. I was super disappointed and would not go back. Too many other great options in Albania.

What a shame: it was an awesome quiet place, blue sea, small taverns, tiny hotels. It’s becoming worse and worse rapidly. Still our favorite, and the three stars go to the insipid people who are destroying it.

It may be because it is a still-developing country, but the atrocious "build-where-you like" attitude of locals has destroyed the beauty of this beach. There are hideous hotels, rooms, restaurants, and bars built wherever they like to make some money during the summer months. There probably isn't even proper sewage disposal, so it's going to be going right into the water. I hope they get their act together soon -- look to Costa Rica and their environmentally friendly ways!

A lovely rocky beach about 10 minutes outside of Himarë. We paid 600 lek one way for a taxi. There is a pay parking lot in town if you have a car. The beach is pebbly so water shoes are essential. There are a handful of bar/restaurants in town as well as a market for drinks, snacks, and beach gear. There is lots of room and it didn't feel crowded at all. The water is pristine.

Very big and long beach. Even in the most crowded days, you can't feel that there are so many people.

The water is crystal clean, and there are free parking lots and a lot of beach bars.

Ok prices, free wifi... Lovely!

there are other more beautiful beaches in the region but if you go with kids I think this one is the most suitable since the water is pretty shallow.
