Nice beach with beautiful sea. Please keep in mind that there is no shower on this beach. The sun beds are around 600-700 lek/day. There are a lot of garbage on the beach. At the day time may be overcrowded.

There is a very nice bay in Jale, but Akuariumi beach is really extraordinary. After you arrive in Jale, you should walk about 10-15min to get there. Ask the locals to show you the road. Not recommended to go by car. Even though we had been every summer in Jale, we discovered this bay only this year. Take something to eat with you since there are no shops or clubs there.

Jal was a destination for us remembering our honey moon. After years we decided to return
For parking we paid 4 euros and than $15 for an umbrella.
The beach was as any other beach in Ionian see.
Average but overpriced. If you have money to waste visit Jal

the beach itself is nice but it looked like a construction side. it is worth a visit if you are there anyway but there are other beaches which are nicer.
Tipp: llamani was the nicest beach I visited in the area.

It's a natural wonder. The beach and the sea are beautiful.
BUT some other people should be managing the place.
We made reservations for 6. They said OK, and said nothing. We arrived the next morning with 2 kids, actually teen-agers and they said they don't allow kids!. I said should have made a warning during reservation, and we had been there the previous summer with the same kids. The answer I got was "You should have asked on the phone if kids were allowed!!!". We turned around and started to leave, and they called us saying we could get in. And inside there were many kids, even 4-5 year-olds.
We sat down at the restaurant for lunch at 12.30, which I think is a very normal time. There were no waiters around, since it was their "lunch break". All waiters using their break at the same time during lunch, at a RESTAURANT?
Oh, and one last thing: there was a sudden storm and rain in the afternoon and everything got soaked, people tried to fit under the roof of the restaurant. That's when they locked the bathroom doors. So that no one used their paper towels to dry themselves maybe?
Even in Albania, where a lot of things are still unspoilt and naive, such places exist. Rude, spoilt and arrogant!
Maybe even Vodafone should reconsider its sponsorship here.

Big construction has arrived on this beach. This spelled disaster in many countries for tourism. Why they repeat that mistake in Albania is curious.
Big construction site on the beach. 2018 will have your ears filled with drilling and other construction related noises. No go area.
After 2018 or might look OK, but the charm of such a small beach will be gone. There might even come a Phase 2 of this project...

Jale used to be a great beach until they built a resort on the best part of the beach. This summer the beach and environs were loaded with trash.

Of course the business investments are very good, but I have seen with my own eyes that the water has become dirty several times during the day. I dont understand how vessels that pollute the water in such a small bay are allowed.

I understand that kids are not allowed on the beach at all. Is it true? You know why?

It is not true. Especially the beach of Jali is very frequented by families with children. In the evening the waves sometimes can be big so it's best for kids not to swim at that time.
