My husband and I visited here today. The gardens were in bloom and the colours spectacular, as too were the plants. The house is definitely worth visiting too and reading about its past. Plenty of parking space and a coffee shop in the stables. Reasonably...More

There is an extensive park rich in camellias and many other tree types around an amazing castle with spectacular view over the plane. I suggest to visit the castle and learn about how it was built with a steel skeleton: it is suprising that a...More

We saw an exhibition at the end of 2017 that was Alice in Wonderland inspired but the house itself was interesting and the gardens worth a visit. Café wasn’t much to write home about!

Lovely visit on a very damp windy day, and in a wheelchair. Wheelchair bathrooms in the stables amazingly had a step to access. I was a bit bewildered and annoyed by that. Otherwise the venue has great wheelchair accessibility - wide tarmac paths. Can't access...More

The chateau was interesting (and its story, tragic), but for us, the most fascinating part of this visit ere the exhibits in the chateau's stables. It's a remarkable space that holds a number of worthwhile art exhibits. It's wonderful to see how the space's original...More

Interesting chateau with lovely gardens and only 19 Eurostar for family of 4. We even took the dog in, but not inside the chateau of course. We saw deer running through the woods.

Visited over Christmas to see the illuminations. I have 3 children so was hoping for some Christmas magic. The gardens & courtyard were lovely, especially as night fell, but the illuminations at the château were a tad disappointing. The courtyard was nice, with a bar...More
