While in Ternate i wanted to do some scuba diving so I found and emailed dodoku for infos.
They always replied very quickly and answered all my questions professionnally so I decided to give it a try. The staff who were all local guys around my age was very friendly and made it a good experience. The diving gear they rent me was ok too.
I speak some bahasa so it probably helped and i would recommend people who want to dive to indicate beforehand if they speak english only, or if their bahasa is really low

Great day dive with Rizal and the Dodoku crew: up to date gear, detailed knowledge of diving sites combined with friendliness. Nukila dive site wreck diving (bus and motorbikes included) was good fun. I just had one day, but will surely be back for 2/3 days dive in Tidore and the Dugond point at Hiri. No doubt the right choice.

i was in ternate last month for business proposed and i have one day for diving with DODOKU, ternate is very wonderful underwater and dodoku is very hospitality for handle us, i am very happy for that

Dives around Ternate, Maitara, and Hiri island with Dodoku Dive Center.. A very experienced , knowledgeable and relaxed dive master, Thank you Romi, Ariawan, Neo. I would highly recommend Dodoku Dive Center. They are knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, safety minded and passionate about scuba!

My husband and I had a wonderful time exploring the landscape both land and underwater in Ternate with Doduku Dive Center. we dived with them in March this year. they were great guides, always on time and lunch was delicious. we are experienced divers and had no problems with the boats and shore dives. If you are looking for a wholesome dive experience in small numbers then look no further

I was on a diving trip to Morotai with this dive center, a small island northeast of Halmahera abour ten hours trip by ferry. There are not many dive centre that provide diving trip in Morotai. No airlines that fly to this island, so you need extra effort to get to this island. With Dodoku, you dont have to worry booking the ferry ticket from and to Ternate because they take care alll of it. The highlight of the dive is world war 2 wrecks and greyshark encounters. They are doing their best so our trip get the best to see this two highlight, although from ten dives, only two dives we encounter greyshark. The boat that takes us to the dive spot is actually a passenger boat, so you need extra skill for entry and exit from the surface. The guides are friendly and recommended.

We spent 3 days diving with the team from Dodoku, 2 dives per day. Due to the season (December, windy) we only did shore dives. 1 day in the north of Ternate out of Jiko Malamo on the coral reef down to 20m. The other 2 days we did muck diving, including 1 night dive, off the front in 4 different locations off Ternate town. Very good variety of marine life from small critters to shoals of fish and walking sharks. The dive leaders were excellent at searching out the life for us to see and photograph - it’s amazing what they find and how small some of it is! We hired regulators and BCDs and these were in good condition. It helps if you can speak a little Bahasa Indonesia - but they are so helpful that language is not really a barrier. We'd use them again if/when we go back. They also went out of their way to help us find and identify the various spice trees on the island as we drove up to Jiko Malamo. Many thanks Dodoku!

A friends recruited us to join a dive trip to Ternate, she had set it up with Dodoku. We had a wonderful four days with them. Each dive was well planned, one guide stayed with people who did not want to go deeper than 20 meters, another went with the ones certified for 30 meters. The guides and staff handled all the equipment beautifully, all we did was snap on our BCD's and roll into the water. Our guide Iki even took some great shots of us underwater, surrounded by amazing fan corals. And Ternate/Tidore is an incredible diving area, a million kinds of coral, super clear water, gorgeous volcanic islands all around. I hope more people discover the beauty of Ternate and keep Dodoku busy!

AMAZING! Dive with Dodoku in Ternate brought me into a complete experience of the underwater world, hills and lakes, and historical ruins. I had 9 dives with them, 6 of the dives are boat dives, and the rest are 3 shore dives. Pristine corals, ship wrecks, bus wrecks, walls, etc.
I will be back again for sure! sukur dofu dofu!

This is my second time diving in Ternate with Dodoku and I have to say that the fantastic experience the first time around was not a fluke.
The underwater experience in Ternate is world class and it has a little something for everyone, from macro, to big fish, current to calm water. But what makes the experience even more fantastic was the fun, knowledgeable, and very accommodating dive masters and crew. They provide one of the best dive experience we have ever had and for that we will make sure to come visit again soon!
