A mesmerizing gift of nature
Jul 2018 • Couples
The name Chitradhara means a picturesque flow of water and so it is- a breathtaking, gorgeous waterfall on the river Indravati. Its smaller than the Chitrakote waterfall, I would call it the younger cousin of Chitrakote.
Its just about 8 km from Chitrakote falls and 19 km from Jagdalpur, so if you visit these places, try not to miss the Chitradhara falls. Its situated in a very quiet and serene village named Potnar. Visiting here was a surreal experience for me, thick lush greenery all around, simple, down-to-earth tribals and no anthropogenic noise pollution. Not many places nowadays retain such natural simplicity.
I would actually like to figure out if there's a good camp/resort to stay here for a longer duration. A mesmerizing gift of nature, do visit this unexplored treasure if you love nature.

Visit to Chitradhara Falls
Aug 2018 • Couples
This is not a big falls but picturesque ! One can approach the falls from the top. It falls into a deep lush green valley. Nice to watch as it falls straight downwards. But the valley has stunning beauty. Note that this is a seasonal falls between Jul to Sept at best. One should have his own vehicle. No facilities.

Hidden gem
Jul 2017 • Family
Its located a bit off road so not many people know about it. The height of the fall is spectacular and you can enjoy and rest in solemn. Do return before sunset.

The scenic beauty of the bastar district. No water is there when we went. But really enjoyed the beauty of the nature... Big big mountain top view....with lots of trees. Complete scenic. But no borders at the edges. Do not leave Kids.

While moving towards chitrakoot, there is place known as potanar from where a left turn will lead you this small waterfall.
Chitradhara has a lot to offer waterfall, small ponds and a lot of Green land, this place is beautiful and moreover less crowded one who want to create a timelaps can visit these place for beautiful pictures and laps.

Beautiful waterfalls, less crowded

Located at Potanar village, Jagdalpur. It's only 10 km from famous waterfalls Chitrakot. Though it is a small water falls but the view was outstanding. Less crowded. If you have some times please go there and enjoy the magnificent views of the waterfalls.
