The garden tour was truly amazing!! We got to see how the spices that we use in our day to day cooking are grown and cultivated, along with many other well known and lesser known plants. Mr Abraham was a great guide, eager to impart his wealth of knowledge regarding the great variety of flora present in our country, along with their uses and also very friendly. We had a great time exploring the garden, feeling one with mother nature. Truly worthy of being one of eighty gardens chosen by BBC.…

The spice garden is managed by Mr Abraham family and is spread over many acres. When we arrived, it was raining heavily. We took out our umbrellas and started the tour. It’s feels like everything is there in the garden and Mr Abraham shares such interesting facts, uses and varieties, medicinal qualities etc that one is amazed at how beautifully such a garden has co-existed. Each and every inch of the garden is planted with something and is a treat to walk around. Highly recommended if anyone is in Thekaddy. Don’t miss out the organic products which can be bought at his home. 😀😀…

Information on "all in one" spice ( सर्व सुगंधी) was enlightening.…
