The outdoor restaurant seating is great when the weather is nice, which it was on the day we visited. Although the games are is noisy and distracting. Food is excellent!

Prespali sme, ráno sme si dali výdatné raňajky a ulovili si pstruhy domov. * Ideal for a weekend stay or a day trip for families with children or friends. A lot of experiences in one place (mini zoo, walking around, western town, regular events, horseback riding, fishing with children, barbecue, relax). We walked through the zoo, we had a lunch (really tasty food and great choice), relaxed, caught the fish we gulped for dinner. We slept in the morning and we had a hearty breakfast and caught the trouts home.

This is not some big, lavish, expensive attraction. Probably not someone else's 4 star expectation but for what it is, where it is, it is 4 star for my family, kid, and me. Not a complete zoo but has bears, lion, puma, Lynx, as well as some smaller mammals and the necessary kids farm animals. You can buy some food for the animals (bread and chopped vegetables) which my kids loved. There's a small lake where they rent you fishing equipment to try your hand at. They have some playground and climbing stuff for younger kids. It's good enough for a visit around these parts.

Came here on a nice sunny day with a friend and a bunch of kids. We arrived at lunch time, expecting to have lunch and then wonder around the park and zoo. Our first impressions were fantastic, there was a person playing keyboard and singing, it was really very nice. After a short wait we got a table. It took around 20mins for the waitress to take our orders. It took another 40 mins for the drinks to arrive and another 20mins for our food. Kids were hungry and impatient. When the meals eventually arrived, we were disgusted. Made on the cheap side, not appealing at all. I ordered a meal for my youngest one out of the "kids menu", she got served rice at least 2 days old and a chicken which was coated in salt. We then proceeded to the park. Again, first impressions were good, there was a reasonably nice playground right at the beginning. However, when we started going around the enclosures, I felt like crying. The animals were kept in dirty, tiny little cages, which looked to be home made. There were 2 brown bears in an enclosure too small for them. Same goes for the tigers. No greenery at all, just dirty concrete covered with feces and food. Absolutely terrible. I will never go back to this place, i am appalled at the living conditions of the animals.

When my dad suggested to go to this place, I was expecting simple grab and a Slovakian styley ZOO ( couple of ducks, piggies, sheep, goats and maybe a cow). The mini ZOO started off pretty idyllically- few cute baby goats running freely around the pond, some other birds and a baby lama. Then you see wallabies and other small creatures. The animals carved out of wood are pretty nice and popular with kids. When you hear a lion roar, you start to get a bit suspicious. There is a lion in a cage in the middle of the pond! Bored of his head looking unhappy. Clearly not a place for the animal king! It gets even worst that that- there is one bison in a space smaller than your average room. There are two very sad looking brown bears, there is tiger, camels and the list of animals just goes on and on. With tears in my eyes, I left the place very upset. I don't know what the rules are on keeping animals like lions and tigers, but this place looks pretty fishy to me! We had a quick look into the restaurant, it is pretty basic and the foods looks cheap. Very tatty and cheap place. And one to avoid!
