This track, very beautiful, is a few kilometers from Rome and international competitions are held in racecars and moto. Is defined the lounge circuit because you can see most of the track comfortably and enjoy the show. If during your stay there is a race not miss it!

I visited Autodromo Vallelunga to compete in the 6 hours of Rome event. I had looked at Google earth images of the circuit and watched on-board video and formed some kind of image of what the circuit would be like. Reality far exceeded that perception.
The circuit is basically in two difference parts. The first half is very high speed with the first right hand bend after the start/finish line taken flat in the CN sports prototype I was driving. Really exhilarating and challenging. The second half is really technically challenging with a string of medium and low speed complexes that give great satisfaction to pull together for a smooth lap. A good run through the medium speed Cimini pair is very rewarding also. Wonderful.
What surprised more more though is the extent of the administration facilities. Pit garages etc are all top notch but the administration building is huge. The facility can really cope with a major event.
Really recommend a visit.

This circuit is only about 35km from Roma so it is quite easy to get to, take the Cassia Bis from the GRA heading north towards Viterbo. The facilities are amazing and ACI (the Italian RAC or AA) own the facility and run Drive Sately classes all year round for both cars and motorbikes. Last weekend I took part in a race so I was there Sat and Sun, we rented a pit lane box and so I tested most of the facilities. The track is stunning and amazing fun to ride and the marshalls are excellent, this circuit is one of the best for sure.

The circuit improved a lot recently, starting from what you see in thr 1st pic. Before you had to come in the circuit walking, passing through the same way the cars pass. Now..finally the line only for pedestrians safely. There is anymore the building in the middle of the paddock with office and bathrooms, so now there is more space..but...the only existing toilet (well done and very new and kind), is in a corner so for a lot of people, teams, working people are too far! They should add toilets also on the opposite side of the paddock, maybe close to the parc fermé. Great shuttle service for inside the track..but I'm not sure it's a service for all the racing weekends.

What a great weekend, nice circuit. Really enjoyed the racing. All the marshalls and people who worked at the circuit were very helpful and really friendly. Circuit facilities were all spotlessly clean. Good safe parking. Only problem my Garmin gps supplied with the rental car just refused to accept the address, so I had to follow signs to the carabinieri station which it took and then luckily there were signs in the middle of the tiny town!

The Eternal City would have deserved a much better race track. Vallelunga is badly kept, expensive and not a user friendly location. For years it was said they would improve it....."they" said..

Qualche consiglio? Grazie in anticipo.
