From the parking (6km before Nordkapp) it’s fairly flat pathway (well marked, keep an eye open for cairns and the red “T” when along the shoreline), then the path drops to the sea, which is just as well because we were out of the mist....More
Nice hike to the most northern part. I found the hike quite a challenge to be honest. The path is well marked but rough. Very rocky, steep parts and sometimes muddy and slippery. Be aware that the way back is mostly uphill so make sure...More
Walked from the parking lot a little after midnight, after I had been driving from Tromsø to nordkapp with a hitchhiker. The walk is pretty easy, not much up and down, somewhat uneven due to all the rocks on the trail.

It is an absolute incredible experience. Reaching the monument looking over towards Nordkapp a sense of pride can be felt...More
I did the hike this past Tuesday, Aug 15th, and it's "doable" with some preparation and forethought. First some things that the casual hiker may overlook:
You'll be out there 6 hours, so water, snacks and empty bowels are in order.
Regardless of the weather...More
