Visitors center is a miniature of Kilpisjarvi. It's located on a high hill and reachable thru a small snowy path in a tundra forest. Car parking is about 200m away. Once inside, the place rewards you with lots of information, maps, handouts and great view...More

They work every day without days off and you may find them near the parking on the entry to the Kilpisjarvi. Look for house with flag above it. Friendly and helpful. I needed information about transport to Helsinki via Rovaniemi. And I got answer ))...More

Interesting small exhibit about the geology and nature in the area. Otherwise not much to see. Its a good place to stop if you need maps and brochures and such but otherwise your time might be better spent actually getting out in nature instead...
