This is the site of the first hydro-electric power station in Asia, set up in the early 20th century. The Gaganachukki and Barachukki waterfalls are best visited post monsoon, when there’s abundant water.

Good place for one-day outing. Almost 4 falls. Good view. Will not be able to get in to the water because of safety reasons. Not so crowded place. No good restaurants nearby. Boating is also available.

Not very attractive but not very dull either. It matters when you visit, Rainy season is ideal time to visit here, chances are that you get to see some good scenic beauty.

Go to the place, if you want to have a good time only with family and perhaps also friends, good place to buy fresh fish, if you have plans to cook with firewood and water flow is heavy in rainy season..

Hi, I had been there in the 1st week of July, but there was no water. I was told by the locals that mid July to mid September would be the best time to visit as it would be guzzling with water.
