I enjoyed the thermal bath! 15 soles for entrance including locker. Yes indeed it is somewhat crowded.

Located 3 km from Chivay these thermal pools are well worth a visit. There are several pools, main pool runs at a pleasant 38 degrees and is very clean and well maintained. Lockers are available, note locker number then lock with padlock. To reopen contact lady in the kiosk. Entry fee is 15 solas per person.

We visited the hot springs pool(s) after a busy day of work. Part of a medical team doing volunteer work in the Colca Valley. Lovely way to relax and unwind.

We spent a couple of hours here on our Colca Canyon trip. There are a number of baths, each at a different temperature. The outside baths were best for us. Be prepared to be stared at if you are European and female.

We arrived at our lodge in Chivay, which is at a high elevation...very cold! Our tour guide took us a 10-minute drive away to this wonderful mineral bath. The staff at the lodge allowed us to take a towel, but they have them for rent at La Calera. A small entry fee gives you access to a locker, shower and these repairing baths. I highly recommend this!

OK. Yes it felt good but so does a hot shower. This is basically a hot pool (it is a pool) to soak in. Nothing miraculous about it. Also nothing natural. If you've seen natural hot springs, this is not it. But if you like hot tubs after a long day, sure, why not!

It was great to also overcome our altitude sickness and relax after a tiring day! Nice view, good facilities in general (even though some showers were not working).

A small drive from the centre of Chivay brings you to this lovely place. There are 4 or 5 different pools in the complex, all with very warm to very hot water in them.

If you have some spare time I would definitely recommend a visit, set in pleasent surroundings between the mountains, with a stream running by and a nice picnic area.

The water in the pools reaches a temperature of 38 degrees, which is a bit too hot.
Outside the pools it is very cold, so if you are in the pools too hot and every organ outside is too cold.
It is therefore hard to rest and relax.
The place is in a very beautiful valley, but it itself is not well maintained.
There are no hot showers in clean water so you will not be able to bathe after the activity.
Recommend to build on the place for an hour, no more
