Pleasant spot

Nice pleasant walk. Great views. Lovely spot to stop. Bit of uphill walking, so not accessible to everyone.

Stunning views and walks
Aug 2021
Lovely day out, Parked at Flamborough Head lighthouse and enjoyed a lovely walk along the cliff path to North Landing. Beach not fantastic golden sand, very shelly, but the cove is great to explore at low tide especially with the kids. Steep decent from car park so not suitable for all.

nice place

The weather was nice so we had a lovely walk down to the bay and along the cliffs. There was a restaurant and a few shops there but we didn't use any of them

Amazing geology and views
Aug 2021
Excellent to adventure - At low tide lots of rock pools and coves to explore. Some sandy (not sandcastle sand) to sit on - and dog friendly. Not for the elderly to access (steep steps / ramp down the old lifeboat launch ramp). But once there amazing views and cliffs / coves.

Lovely little beach
Aug 2021
Love the fact that this little beach is so secluded and in the bay. Very safe for swimming or water boarding.

Our favourite of all the beaches in Flamborough
Aug 2021 • Family
North landing is a beautiful beach with the classic white chalk pebbles, rock pools and just general beauty. We didn’t have chance to stay long but would definitely come back. There is a car park at the top (although the pay machine was out of action) as well as toilets and an ice cream van, half way down the steep ramp you could get coffees and more…

What a nice gem of a beach. Was busy in the day time but at golden hour before sunset it was calm and a nice place to sit and chill... nice pint of guiness at the bar just up the top of the car park.. lovely guy working there and very informative of local area.

Stony secret cove
Aug 2021 • Family
First time trip to this beach but we will certainly go back. This is a another hidden sandy cove down the East Coast. Clean sand with rocks and caves to explore.

Tide times can be difficult to work out but I do recommend getting down there as the tide is heading out because it was getting quite busy.

Another beautiful beach on the North Yorkshire coast.
Aug 2021 • Family
One of three beaches in Flamborough on the North Yorkshire coast that must be visited. It's easy to access from the car park on the top of cliffs. Ticket can be used on all car parks in East Ridding throughout the day and public toilets are up there to use at anytime. Though, cleanliness levels of toilets are very much arguable and could be improved.

We only managed to see this beach during high tide and found it beautiful despite rainy day. It would have been gorgeous up here on a sunny day but also packed with many people. Haven
Holidays operates cafe and bar near car park with food being of reasonably good quality and prices too. Beach itself could be great spot for paddleboarders or swimmers if water is calm.
