A very nice place where you can relax with your friends or family. You can go there and play some sports, like tennis. I went there some time ago, with my cousins and it was a nice day. I was impressed that there is a church, a restaurant where you can eat, in short , you can do a lot of activities. I liked very much this place, so I recommand you to visit it, at list once.

Something never seen, from the entrance with the shuttle immersed in the darkness down into the bowels of the earth, despite not seeing anything, a fantastic thing. Once through the entrance, a surreal spectacle worthy of a story by Jules Verne. A labyrinth of multicolored salt galleries with attractions of all kinds.
Truly exceptional.

It's just like a small town underground. They have restaurants, church, small cinema, gift shop, clean toilets, big area for kids to play and as well with activities for kids and adults such as basketball and football and tennis and many others. It's a really nice place to go and visit. The food is good in restaurants and isn't expensive.
Loved it and for sure will go back soon.

Private free parking, guarded. You embark in a bus, that comes almost every 15 minutes, 9-17h, the ticket is about 3,7Euro. It descends almost 27 meters on a 2km gallery in the salt mountain. The salt has a very beautiful pattern of stripes white and grey.
Inside you have no steps. It is a huge room structured in a rectangular pattern with alleys and passages between huge pillars. There are multiple treatement areas, sport fields, carting, a restaurant, toillets, a chappel for Sainte Varvara with stained glass lighted fake windows, icons, explanation sheets in Romanian and English. We ate very good tripe soup, saussages and cake, 2x, for 9 euro. They have a water spring in a corner. Kids with asthma or other respiratory deseases can play in organised places or can use the numerous swings.

We visited the salt mine at lunch time and were surprised to find a restaurant right inside. The whole setting in the salt mine was deeply impressing, a magic world, like another dimension. Two big parallel galleries intersected with other two big galleries. Big means that each gallery was several hundred meters long and broad enough for two trucks to drive and people to walk on the side at the same time. There are no vehicles in the mine though. Only the busses that bring the visitors to the entrance. I had the feeling that i kept on walking through a fascinating abstract painting with no end. There was a church, a spacious play ground for children and grown ups, an art gallery and a self service restaurant. The food was good, tasty and not expensive.

Simple common place.
You park and get on their bus which takes you inside.
Bus comes and goes every 15 minutes.
20 lei adult, 10 lei child.
Activities either 5 or 10 lei.
E.g. half hour ping pong 10 lei.
4 wheel cycling cart 5 lei for 15 minutes.
Same for trampoline.
I think it is a very nice to visit and the activities help you pass the time.

One of the salt mines in Romania, it is quite nice and you have some entertainment down there (like field and table tennis, pool and others). There is also a nice little church there.
