Location is not ideal for travelers on foot from Railway station but is a must see, if visiting Riihimäki. The collection is beautifully presented and the display has some very unique glass-art. Thoroughly recommended!

The history of glass, types of glass. glass making techniques, glass designs, exhibitions, glass art. The Finish Glass museum gives you an opportunity to see all in one place. It is worth a visit.

Interesting museum with different exhibitions and during Christmas season they have nice selection of ornaments in museum shops. Cheap entrance fee too!

This museum is good reason to travel Riihimäki. Here you can see masterpieces of Finnish design and glass art, like Sarpaneva, Wirkkala, Aalto and many others. Also historical aspects are very well presented in this good museum.

Lots of information about the Finnish design. Beautiful glass works and a nice shop. Worth to visit! Take a look also to the hunting museum, which is located just beside.

They had all the important pieces of Finnish designr glass. Nice collection. I would visit again the Gift shop. The location is a bit far without a car but managable. There is other glass work shops close by aswell. (And the hunting museum next door).

Finnish Glass museum gives an excellent overview of the history of Finnish Design. They have temporal exhibitions and permanent exhibition with examples of every designer from the Finnish Golden era 1950 to 1970's.

Large permanent collection of unique glassworks by famous designers, and interesting changing exhibitons of different national and international designers. The building is a real old glass factory.
