This breathtaking place should be on anyone's list when visiting Iceland! It is truly one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've ever seen.

This is one of the highlights of Golden Circle Tour. It is the golden waterfall of Iceland and one of the most visited attractions. There is a drop of more than 30 meters and if you come during winter you might find a part of...More

What an amazingly powerful waterfall! It was very cold and snowing when we arrived but we braved the biting cold to get the best views we could. Parking at the bottom can be a bit hairy with bad weather so take it steady. Wrap up...More

There are a lot of waterfalls in Iceland but this one beats them all. Very spectacular indeed and part of the Golden Circle tour, well worth the visit

The falls are absolutely stunning in winter and well worth the long queue to even get to the car park and then hordes of visitors.

As we had torrential rain and howling wind we fought our way to the viewing are and went straight back to the gift shop/restaurant to dry off. I guess if you went on a walking tour to the foot of the waterfall it would be...More

This waterfall was probably the highlight of my weekend in Iceland. I loved the power and beauty of the area. Looking at the waterfall and seeing it partially and the view of the whole thing amongst the cold, snowy landscape. I also loved the history...More

I so wanted to see this! Such beauty and power in an amazing setting. There is nothing not to love here. The sheer noise and power is incredible made better by seeing it in a snowstorm. There are different heights to view this from with...More

Where are you staying? In which town? The Golden Circle is a must-see and it certainly is worth a detour.
