The waterfalls in Iceland do not disappoint. This one is massive and powerful. Packed with tourists but worth the stop.

The Gulfoss is located on the "Golden Circle". It's easy to find if you are driving. It's just breathtaking and there are points where you get really close for amazing photos and you can also feel the spray from the falls.

A very powerful waterfall and a must see when on the Golden Circle. Rather crowded though. The weather wasn't really cooperating to get nice shots

There aren't enough words to describe the beauty and power of this waterfall. It's amazing. It will be extremely crowded, so be prepared. There are both lower and upper entry points. You need to do both of them. Well worth your time.

Gulfoss is along the great Golden Circle. A must see as you can get up close to the waterfall. Just one of many waterfalls you will explore.

Gullfoss is part of the Golden Circle area and is a wonderful sight. Set in a river canyon, surrounded by green landscape (in summer anyway), it is a powerful, two tiered, waterfall which offers numerous photo opportunities from different vantage points. Take advantage of the...More

This is probably one of the most wonderful waterfalls of Iceland. Approaching to the fall from the top of a hill, it gives you an amazing view, and coming closer it overwhelms you with its power.

Where are you staying? In which town? The Golden Circle is a must-see and it certainly is worth a detour.

We were on the Golden Circle EXPRESS tour which gave us 45 minutes there in very extreme weather. If the weather had been clear, we'd have wanted longer (not least to walk down the route that was closed on the day we were... More
