Although it's not a super big waterfall, it's beautiful & pretty cool to walk behind the lower part. Not far off the road & easy to get close.

This is definitely one of the main tourist attractions in the Golden Circle of Iceland. This waterfall was massive. We happen to go on a wind storm day, so it was cold, and the water hitting us hurt because they felt like hail. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful waterfall, and I would still recommend seeing this. I have seen many waterfalls but this is dpecial because of the rainbow. A must see indeed. Also you can really get up close to the waterfall.

This was worth the visit, even though a trip around Iceland can feel like a tour of waterfalls. The staggered layers make it quite impressive and a beautiful site to witness. We also were lucky seeing it half frozen as it added a beautiful dimension to it.

One of my favorite stops in Iceland. Can get busy (visited in May), but it's still easy to get great photos. The upper walkway offers wonderful views, but there are some steep steps to get down to the lower walkway. Unfortunately, some in our party found it too difficult - especially in the cold. Awesome waterfall that will take your breath away, try not to miss this. Plenty of photo veiwing areas. Complex and gift shop onsite. Free parking. Free toilets in the main gift shop.
