A tremendous waterfall system. Several levels and areas of cascades. Not to be missed. Bring a camera, or better a video.

Beautiful, powerful & massive! No wonder Iceland has absolutely no issues being energy independent. I was there in April, it was snowing & it was beautiful!

A really big fast flowing waterfall, not the highest but certainly grand, dress up warm though - the wind was really strong and cold

Very cool waterfall. Interesting how it falls over different layers and cuts deep into the rocks. Definitely worth it to bring a camera or just sit back and enjoy this amazing natural feature.

Large waterfall with gorgeous views. Good sized gift shop on site. During winter, crampons are recommended.

We just visited on one side, though there is access from the opposite side - it's just not as easy or convenient. The trail ends very close to the waterfall but we didn't have rain gear on and weren't willing to get... More
