Watch the magnificent sunset through the natural rock arches

There's a reason why Legzira Beach was named as one of The 40 Best Beaches on Earth by The Huffington Post. Nature at its best.

We went there to rest after climbing in the mount Atlas, and I barely can imagine a nicer place to stretch my limbs after mountaineering. The sight of the ocean, de orange-brown cliff-sides, the anti-Atlas in the distance, the murmuring of the Atlantic ocean. It is simply priceless (and quite cheap also).

Best fish on the beach. Can eat under roof or on the beach. Great views from either. Staff very friendly. Expect a wait as everything is freshly baked.

Went on bike from Sidi Ifni - it's a 10 km drive and is perfectly doable. Arrived to the village, which is modern summer residents (not to charms) and a few old houses and restaurants directly in the beach. The beach itself is clean and nice and during my stay with only few people. Great for finding a spot by... More

After walking down a set of stairs from the tiny town, you find a short string of beach cafes fronting onto a wide open stretch of open beach in both directions. We went south as this is the location of the often-photographed stone arches. At low tide, the water went out about 100 meters exposing rocks and tide pools, with... More

A beautiful start to a mix and match walk. Lezgira beach itself is lovely, just wander on down between the arches - this may be a more difficult at high tide. If you aren't sure just ask the locals. Along the beach there is vastly more rocks then Scrooge Mcduck has money - each a gorgeous different colour. At low... More

If in the area a must do. The Kasbah organised a driver for us to take out for the day. It was like going back to old surfing days.

We drove for a long time to get to Sidi Ifni, but it was worth it. We stopped on the way for coffee and dessert o the way. We walked on the beach when we arrived, and it was almost scary, that's how loud the ocean sounded. Each wave exploded with a huge noise as it arrived at the arch.... More
