From Agadir we wanted to explore south. We picked Legzira because it looked amazing. It did not disappoint!! I had rented a car and chose to program the sat nav to avoid main roads. It took over three hours this route. But we drove through...More

This is a nice clean beach on the Atlantic coast south of Mirleft. It is pleasant for a beach stroll with a long, broad strand of sand. About two thirds of the way along is a huge arch of rock, a promontory into the sea...More

The trip from Agadir is probably best done by taxi or car but it is a lovely drive and when we did it in the spring we stayed in Sidi ifni and visited Legazira beach on our way back to Agadir. We took a picnic and spent a pleasant half a day travelling along the coast road - that was full of wild flowers, with several viewing points of the coastline - and takes you to the bird sanctuary area. However it is quicker to take the main road direct to Agadir if you are short of time.
If you are intending to just take a day trip out you would need to go to Tiznit (a beautiful walled town with a flourishing silver souk) this is 91 km from Agadir, and then on to Legazira beach which is on the road to Sidi ifni.
The previous posts are very accurate and it is worth a longer stay if possible.
