Lovely wee bit of history. Spoke to gentleman at door who told us that he had donated a lot of the exhibits himself. Lots of interesting information and added bonus was dogs are allowed. Donation box at door. Worth a look

My wife and I paid a visit to this museum for the first time...and it was well worth the time taken. Although small you can get a feel for life in the early 18th and 19th century. There are loads of artefacts , from fishing...More

A compact little museum. Free entry, box for donations. A video of the fireball New Year celebratins was showing well worth watching.

The museum covers the ground floor of Stonehavens's oldest building. It is crammed to the gunnels with every conceivable aspect of local history. The displays are very much home made and that is no criticism as the enthusiasm and knowledge of the volunteers shows itself...More

It is amazing how much is packed into this museum .....so interesting ......and the staff are so ready to help . The ancient fossil found at Cowie is the highlight .

Small museum run by volunteers. A very interesting place to visit. Children love visiting and enjoy the quiz provided. No charge for entry just a donation box
