Fabulous old fashioned sweet shop, selling their own Artisan Award Winning Gelato/Icecream made in Stonehaven, the only Icecream shop to claim this. So many unique flavours. Lots of chocolates/sweets from Scotland to Worldwide.
Lovely kind knowledgeable staff, who welcome you with a smile. A visit to E.Guilianitti not to be missed.

Absolutely loved this beautiful little shop! Spoke to a lady who I believe was the owner, who offered us a free chocolate on our (generous) delicious, homemade ice cream. Also bought some lovely tasting chocolates. The lady asked where we were from and we had a lovely conversation (she was familiar with some areas local to us in North Wales). Only wished we lived closer so we could visit more often. We'll be coming back to Stonehaven, if only to visit this chocolate shop! ☺️

This is a shop that you would find in heaven if you are a lover of sweet things. Immense selection of all sorts of sweets from old fashioned traditionals to more unusual treats. Lovely gift packs too. But the delight was all their homemade ice creams, the colours, the flavours were totally immense. And as for their ice cream sundaes with the warm caramel sauce - seriously yummy. Cannot recommend enough. I am glad I do not live in Stonehaven as I would be there every day and put on so much weight. The staff were delightful, so friendly, helpful and patient (as so difficult to choose so took ages). Also, the way the shop is set up for Covid times was very efficient and well planned. All in all - totally awesome. You must go!

We know COVID has been here for a while. Their queue system is awful. We were beckoned to enter by the young lady at the ice cream end of the premises as the two people she had served left the shop . However the other woman serving shouted to wait outside. Looking slightly confused she shouted at us “we aren’t to blame for COVID” Her behaviour was slightly MANIC. Not a good way to treat prospective customers! As Stonehaven residents who have always previously used E Giulionotti I would strongly recommend to use one of the other ice cream shops in Stonehaven.

After waiting outside the shop due to covid-19 restrictions (which I completely understand and have no problem following).

We were allowed in the shop and were being served by a lovely politely member of staff, however, with lack of instructions once you are actually in the shop, we went to go to the normal cashier desk only to be spoken to like quite frankly we were stupid and dirt off of the shoes of the owner. The list of instructions (which was on the door which would mean going into the shop to actually read it) which states for customers to be patient with the staff during the pandemic, but I would maybe request that the owner also has some patience with members of public and paying customers, as the rules are different in every shop and are not particularly clear once you are in the shop.

The abrupt manner we were spoken to has certainly put me off visiting the shop anytime soon, which is a shame as i am a lover of the shop itself, and as a resident of Stonehaven I support local businesses, but do not appreciate being spoken to in this manner.

Great old fashioned sweet shop ( I didn't have any ice cream this time but will be back soon! ) I ended up buying some lovely chocolates for a birthday gift and some Scottish products which were gift wrapped for other gifts. The lady who served me was very helpful nothing was too much trouble there was so much things I wanted to buy. I was impressed as it was my first visit would certainly give them 5 stars for quality products and great service.

The lady in this shop was so rude to me that for the first time in my life, I asked for my money back and snubbed the petit fours. They were on a shelf with a half price banner but the shop charged me the full ticket price on the item. When I asked why, the owner explained that they had been £8 full price, peeling labels off a different box and showing me the original price tag which was hidden beneath. When I said 'oh, fair enough, that wasn't very clear' and paid for the item anyway, she walked off muttering under her breath about me. I was taught to say please and thank you and to say nothing if I had nothing nice to say, shame this lady hasn't learnt that lesson.

I have visited This Shop many times as a child and as a adult.

It offers a Warm welcome and the staff are always helpful.

The interior Decor is lovely with Ye Old Sweet Shop style and the Display window is always Beautifully decorated and at Christmas especially it transforms into a Magical WinterWonderland.

They have a huge selection of sweeties and chocolates.

But the main reason I visit this shop and take many friends, relatives and recommend visitors to go is the Ice-Cream.

Wow, where to begin.
There is always a Huge variety of flavours, each and every flavour will make your taste buds go wild. They are all unique, if you choose Apple pie, you will taste Apple pie. I could taste Warmed Apples, cinnamon, a crumbly biscuit crunch (the Apple pie crust) it's just sublime. Then matched with the creamiest of cream it's like a explosion for the taste buds!

They offer sauces, flakes etc to go with your ice-cream.

The other Stonehaven other Ice-cream (Aunty Betties)
Shop does add sweeties to the top of the ice cream but their Ice-Cream is nowhere near as flavoursome or tasty.

Guilnottis simply does not need these un-necessary frills. Their Ice-cream is simply magical and a real culinary treat for those visiting Stonehaven.

I can not recommend it enough. It is a MUST visit!

When i came in, this shop looked amazing. I can't believe how good it was, my favourite ice cream was a tropical sorbet. It was delicious. The staff there were really kind.I'd recomend it to everyone.

Treat yourself to the best ice cream EVER and visit Giulianotti's in Stonehaven. There are lots of wonderful unique flavours to sample..turkish delight, raspberry ripple, coffee, liquorice, pineapple... but my absolute favourite is Pistachio! It's all made freshly on the premises by the lovely owner herself. The shop is charming, full of character and filled to the brim with chocolate, sweet treats, gifts and more chocolate. If you love your food and all things delicious, then this is a must visit.
