Absolutely love coming here! We are fairly regular visitors and the weather this time was fab! It was the hottest day this year and the pool was rammed, we had to queue to get in, even at 3:15pm. We went for a paddle in the sea in the morning the ln got into the pool later on. The atmosphere was... More

I have been going to Stonehaven Open Air Swimming Pool for many years. It is a heated pool with sea water. The swimmers/spectators can also sunbath on an open area as there are no rows of seating. There is an onsite cafe which serves reasonably priced food. The ladies changing area also have free hairdryers as well as plenty of... More

I recently booked the outdoor pool for a private function. The staff could not have been more helpful in making the evening a success. The pool itself was magical, warm and inviting and the changing room facilities were spotless. Kirsteen

Picture yourselves on a hot sticky beach in the Algarve .... sand in your icecream ... people everywhere vieing for space and trying to sell you watches / barking dogs / sunglass... Now picture yourself in a beautiful Art Deco Attraction for ALL the family, vibrant colourful and sheltered , a headted pool, smart resteraunt, warm showers and just minutes... More

We visited today as a party of 4 adults and 1 x 3 year old toddler The older adults were only spectating but still had to pay £3.25 each to sit poolside which was a bit much. The other 2 adults and toddler were soon in the pool splashing about but the toddler was not allowed on the slide or... More

We're really disappointed you didn't enjoy your visit to the Pool, Kerry P. Your child's safety is our top priority and that is why the chute and inflatable are for swimmers only. Both can be dangerous for very young children even when with a parent. There are, however, float toys available for all at the shallow end which many toddlers... More

Went Monday evening. It was a great way to cool down and chill out after our active day out walking. Very therapeutic. Warm evening sunshine, warm water, fresh sea air and gentle exercise in the Olympic size pool released any tension or aches in tired legs and feet. We had the pool practically to ourselves. Enjoyed doing lengths to the... More

We're so glad you enjoyed your visit to the Pool yvetteandneville. And we're impressed - 20 lengths is a tad over 1km! When the Pool was built in 1934, it was to the old competition standard length, so it's just a whisker over 50m long. We'll also pass your comments on to our hardworking lifeguards. Come back to Stonehaven soon... More

Visited here for the first time after hearing so much about it. Went to the inflatables session on Sunday afternoon and the inflatable obstacle course was hard but hilarious! Super fast water slide at the deep end of the pool too. Plenty chairs to sit on in the sun :) the changing rooms are pretty old but aren't that bad... More

My partner and I chose the outdoor pool as it was a lovely day and I suggested we try it. I have to say that the changing facilities didn't bother me as you are only in them briefly. I liked the mirror in my cubicle advertising "sanitary towels" of all things with a brand that probably doesn't exist anymore! It... More

Thank you so much for your kind comments GillRob11. As the Pool is a Listed Building there are limits to what can be done - thank you for understanding! Hope to see you back soon. More
