Wonderful dinner and a beautiful evening
Nov 2014 • Friends
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the company. If you are anywhere near make the effort to spend a lovely evening with Gianna and fantastic food. We look forward to the Bed and Breakfast! What a great way to experience Tuscany!

A perfect dinner! A must do
We travelled with some friends to Tuscany. We had rented a villa and organized for Gianna from cooking on Holiday to provide breakfast on 3 of the days and also to come and cook for us one night. The breakfasts were superb...traditional meats, soft pecorino cheese, fresh bread and crostata (a traditional jam tart) with hot coffee was a perfect start to our days. One morning we even got cake (a soft sponge drizzled with orange syrup)! The dinner was very tasty. Gianna showed us how to prepare each dish and we got hands on making ravioli. Even the two year old in our party got involved. Gianna is a fascinating, intelligent and enthusiastic person...we could have hung out with her all holidays. Totally recommend this experience.

Amazing Tuscan Experience
Aug 2014 • Couples
My husband and I were given this "Eat With" experience as a wedding gift. It was by far our most influential and hands on experience in Italy. Gianna was warm, friendly, professional, and an incredible chef (also perfect English)! She greeted us into her home by showing us a printed out menu of what was to come for our evening. She allowed us to taste her infused olive oils with toasted bread. We also had proscuitto and melon for our first course. Just perfect. We began by learning the proper proportions of making 2 kinds of homemade pasta; Tagliatelle and ricotta and spinach filled Ravioli. She had already prepared the sauces. The first was a spicy pomodoro called arrabiata with chili and garlic for the Tagliatelle. The second was a mint pesto that was to die for!!! This was for the Ravioli and was absolutely incredible. I cannot wait to try it at home from the recipe she has given. She even prepared a dessert of Strawberry Tiramisu with mint syrup. We would recommend this experience to anyone! Gianna felt like a friend throughout the whole evening. Thank you so much Gianna! -Taelor and Jake
