We had a truly wonderful visit at the winery. The owners showed us such warmth and passion for their craft and for us as visitors. The wines are great and so is the scenery. Definitely 5 stars and I would love to come back.

Nice family introducing their own production. Every thing EcoLogic. The ¨Tinto"(red wine)
is excellent.... for any kind of meat. Fresh, And the Cava Brut Nature Reserva is sublime.!!!!!!!

A beautiful, small-production organic winery

We visited Felix Massana Rafols as part of our biking winery tour of the Penedes region with Bikemotions. The owner provided us with a tour of the property, including a description of the cava-making process and a tasting of their wines, which included reds, whites and sparkling wines. The boutique also had honey and other local products for sale. The owners were very knowledgeable and passionate about their work, describing their winemaking philosophy and the history of their property with great enthusiasm. This spot was a great find.

This was our favorite winery tour

We enjoyed this winery more than the larger, Cordoniu. We were taken here by a tour guide, who booked us into two wineries and loved the personal interaction with the owner in this smaller winery. After the tour she served lunch in her wine cellar, which consisted of Pica-Pica--an assortment of cold cuts, cheese, tomato bread, cookies, olive oil, etc. We drank a great deal of wine at lunch--white, red, cava and at the end everyone got to drink out of a porone, which is quite a trick. She was fun and delightful to talk to. We learned a lot about the process and all of the wines in the cellar are real--not just for show as in some wineries. This is a real mom and pop operation, and was one of the highlights of our trip. We had teen-agers with us and they enjoyed it too, which was a real plus.
