If you want to go to see the sunset there are plenty of nice places in town... isn't worth to be crowded to see a sunset. During the day is less crowded.

An unique experience to see the sunset with a magical atmosphere in the riverside. Several stores with local handcraft work and some bars are available for you to wait for the sunset.

Kind of kitch, but yet something authentic and endearing about the whole experience! We visted a Saturday in winter, and it was crowded, mostly with locals and Brazilian tourists. Many small, nice cafés and tapiocarias, and beautiful handicraft.

Take a river cruise at sunset and listen to the saxophone player serenade you. He has been doing it every night for 15 years! Beautiful sound and sights.

Unfortunately I arrived late for the sunset but even then I found a violinist playing setting up a nice music to walk on the street with. There are local stalls with cheap products and some restaurants in which I didn't go but looked nice

We were moored in the marina just downstream from this so called "beach". Pleasure craft take groups of tourists out daily to dance the samba on board, watch the sunset, and subsequently be serenaded by a saxophonist in a Brazilian type gondola playing Ravel’s Bolero....More

Boa tarde! Estou indo à João Pessoa com minha esposa dia 30/07/16 sábado agora. Que horas devo chegar para assistir o espetáculo do pôr do sol e escutar o som delicioso de um sax? Quanto custa para passear no catamarâ?
