O Forte está sendo reformado, mas pelo que esta aberto a visitação é possível ver características marcantes da historia do Brasil, alem de contemplar no alto uma vista deslumbrante da Praia e de parte da Ilha de Itamaracá! Vale a pena conhecer!

Paisagem espetacular, lugar bem conservado e história incrível. O acesso é fácil, apesar da subida ser desaconselhável para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida, como minha avó. Tem banheiro no local.

Bem nao posso dizer que q visita ao forte foi ruim, confiamos no trip que o horario de visitação iria até as 17hs, sendo que na verdade o horário vai até as 13hs. Fiquem atentos!! Se perderem a visitação peguem o por do sol da ponte.

O forte fica aberto das 9h às 17h a entrada é gratuita, próximo ao forte tinha o projeto peixe-boi que no momento está desativado. A vista é muito bonita, apesar de não encontrarmos nenhuma pessoa no local para contar um pouco da história do forte, tem muitas plaquinhas espalhadas contando um pouco da história. Não ficamos na praia do forte, mas tinha muitas barracas, parecendo ser bem estruturada.

Local em reforma, aparentemente já faz muito tempo. Não tem nenhum controle de acesso, o que torna o espaço perigoso, fácil de ficar escondido, já que é um forte! São muralhas (2 - uma portuguesa e outra holandesa) e no centro do local muita areia, um verdadeiro canteiro de obra. Mais nada! Se fiquei 10 min no local foi muito, não tem nada além da vista e de suas próprias suposições históricas de como teria sido... naquele tempo.

The fort is beautiful and relatively well preserved. Entrance is free but there is no guide to explain the history or even information about the fort.

Fui com minha família conhecer o ponto turístico da Ilha de Itamaracá. Chegamos perto das 10h e estava muito quente, o Forte não oferece muito estrutura para turistas ( não tem banheiro e poucos locais de sombra). O Forte estava aberto das 10h às 15h. Não se paga para entrar no Forte, mas também não há nada de interessante para ver além das fotos sobre as muralhas, pois o mesmo se encontra mal conservado.

Local histórico construído em 1631 e declarado patrimônio mundial desde 1938. Localizado em uma das belas praias da ilha de Itamaracá, próximo ao acesso à Coroa do Avião.
