About

Worth visiting if in the area

The museum building is 400 years old, located on a quiet river in town and worth visiting in its own right.

The museum is crammed with old cidre making paraphernalia and photos.

A tour starts with a short video followed by an hours worth of wandering up and down stairs and through small rooms.

It is quiet interesting. If visiting I strongly recommend then going to the producer of the cidre provided in the degustation; 'cidrerie reine du Le vicq'. It is excellent and their calvados and cidre very tasty, not overpriced.

Thank you to the museum hosts for this experience of Normandie. The museum of the cider is well worth the visit . Good explains toon of the process , and of course " the petite degustation" top it all up.

Thank you so much for this great experience

scary and pleased to leave

This museum was confusing and bizarre. We felt very strange about going round it. We bought a couple of bottles of cidre but it was an odd set up and very weird. One experience we will not be repeating.
