The park was closed due to flooding so we checked out Kuala Lipis. All the grand old buildings are on hills around the town and it's pretty hot. Lucky for us we were saved by Adam 0448002324 who even drove us down to the jetty for Taman Negra Park. Adam loves his Lipis and we saw everything we could. If... More

We did a tour of 3 days and 2 nights with guide Arif. He was a very experienced and funny guy, who knew everything about the jungle. You are very liberate to do your own thing and decide where to sleep ecc. We saw some pretty amazing things with a lot of climbing included! Such as caves, insects and snakes.... More

During the 2D1N trip with Arif, I visited 4 caves and the most impressive one is Gua Buta the blind caves. It's inhabited with thousands of insect eating bats but surprisingly the caves are odourless. The most amazing experience to me was to feel the complete darknness when u r inside. You will be brought to the center of the... More

Kenong is a hidden germ. Off the beat track, yet got so much to offer. If you are a true nature lover, go to Kenong, and you will never regret you have been there. We enjoyed the caves, the tracks, the river, the hundred million old rainforest, the flora and the fauna -all natural and untouched. There are easy tracks... More

We are a family of five with two adults, two young adults of 20 and one girl of 9 and ejoyed the days in Kenong Rimba with Arif very much! We were picked up at Kuala Lipis by Arif and drove with his 4wheel-drive about one hour to the bungalow-resort in the jungle. The bungalows are nice and clean and... More

Remember to have a lantern with you to get into most amazing caves (cellphone light is not enough) Don't miss it if you have the oportunity! We did not stay in the bungalows... More

Great introduction to the Malaysian jungle. The park has clean, simple lodges with cold (refreshing) showers and ceiling fans. You need to hire a guide, which really adds to the experience. Activities include; jungle walks, cave exploration - with bats, river tubing - all can be arranged by your guide. Excellent simple food cooked by our guide. Bring your own... More

This was one of the highlights of our trip in Asia! As mentioned by other reviewers, we contacted the manager, Arif privately via email and he was able to help us organise everything. We caught the bus from Kuala Lumpur, which was reasonably quick, and were met at the bus station by our guide Fahmi. Our guide, Fahmi was absolutely... More
