The river goes out so far at low tide that the beach is huge. Lovely for a walk in the shadow of the castle ruins on the hill. Good parking. Dogs only allowed outside the summer months. Beautiful in sunrise, sunset.

The beach & headland are simply glorious wonderful for dog walking & generally taking in the beauty of the sea. You can exit the beach onto the headland at several places making a good circular walk.

Look over to Ferryside. Unspoilt area. Good parking. Straggly village with weekday bus service. Ferry service starting 2019.

A lovely clean beach and you can see Ferryside opposite. There is a beautiful walk from Llansteffan beach to Scotts Bay through a wooded area, well worth doing. It can also be walked on the beach when the tide is out.

Parking is by the beach, great views across to Ferryside, and the rail station can now be reached by new ferry service. Beach is beautiful. Look for birdlife, and cockleshells. Be careful if venturing onto the sand, as tide comes in faster than you can...More

Great for walking, great for kids to play. There’s a small shop and two huts selling food , a cone of chips is very popular on hot days, huts are only open in summer. Nice big car park and a huge castle ruin on top...More
