Beautiful and picturesque place, 10 minutes walk from the car park. The car park is next to the sandy beach. Can climb to the top of the ruined castle

There's nowhere I prefer to be on a sunny winters day. A beautiful beach along the towy estuary with a stunning backdrop of quaint cottages, low cliffs and woodland. I love the walk along the beach, up through the woodland and to the castle. There...More

A grand castle on a promontory, in good repair though long abandoned, with views across the land and the bay.

Be better once the building work is completed. Place looks like a ruin. Nice views though. Neighbours are a bit noisy and could raise the dead.

A fair walk from Llansteffan beach but well worth the effort and my dog certainly appreciated it. I just love old castles and this had lots of nooks and crannies to explore. As mentioned the views were beautiful.

Free entry after a steep walk up to the castle. Descriptive boards displayed at various points giving the history of each part. The most glorious views of 360 degrees. Worth a visit for the views alone. Free parking in the village - walk of 1/2...More

As with most medieval castles, they built it a bit far from the main road (only joking, I'm not a complete numpty!). However, parking is someway from the castle, either in the main village (free, next to the church), or next to the beach. Nice...More

This site of a castle ruins is a nice afternoon out. There is a car park down by the beach and the castle is a good walk. You can choose a direct rout up a path and along a road should take a leisurely 10...More
