If you are visiting Desert National Park. Don't forget to visit Sam Sand Dunes. Its a commercial place, please be watchful of the touts who offer camel ride. It better to get settle before the sunset on top of the dune.

One of the best in its kind, awesome place to visit. Worth to spent time here. One can enjoy the beautiful scenic views in desert with charismatic sunrise and sunset views. Desert camel safari and jeep safari adds rememberable activities to it. Cultural dance n folks arranged by resort persons were damn good and gives you a perfect night to... More

The foods at the resorts there could be a hit or miss. Please do note that most of the times and in most of the resorts its oily. If possible go deep into the dunes. The Sunset is not so magical but the overall experience of a night out in dunes is great.

If you like camels and accessible dunes then this is an option when you are in Jaisalmer. But if you have seen dunes elsewhere, dont see a ride on a camel as a must do and you want, space, quiet and tranquillty, then you will be underwhelmed. If you go, note that the dunes themselves are not actually that big,... More

We had stayed in a desert stay (3). It was littlle sunny day in the month of november there. Checked in at the evening. Went to see the sunset near the dunes. Moderate crowd and had a good view. Early morning went to sunrose as well and went to camel safari and it was cold. Enjoyed rajasthani folklore at the... More

We stayed at the Winds desert camp and a visit to the sand dunes was included in our package. At 4pm we together with other campers from our camp site left for the camel safari. It was done in a convey very pleasant via shrubby terrain and had a long ride until we reached the proper sand dunes. Generally its... More
