This was recommended to us by some locals who know a lot about wine. The tour was amazing. Our tour guide Hasmik was so kind, gracious, charismatic and overall wonderful. She was beyond informed about winemaking and tasting. The founder, Armen Aslanian personally welcomed us. It’s an absolute must in Armenia.

Perfect

It is impressive how this vineyard was built out of nothing and is now a highly modern and incredibly beautiful place. We very much enjoyed our tour there with our competent, friendly and motivated guide Hasmik who gave us a lot of interesting information in an entertaining way. The lunch and the wine tasting afterwards with the incredible view over the grape yards was stunning. The ArmAs stuff is very professional, responsive, and customer friendly and we highly recommend this tour for everyone who wants to live an unforgettable experience in Armenia!

Yesterday we celebrated Easter in Armas. They had prepared meticulous and lavish event. It was such an interesting, amazing and beautiful winery. They have a beautiful place to enjoy weather with a glass of vine. Their vines are really tasty.
It’s a must see place in Armenia!!

We were lucky enough to be guided by the owner Viktoria Aslanyan herself, who was so passionate and enthusiastic about Armas, that the same energy took over us. The view over the restaurant was just amazing, the food was unique and delicious. It’s a crime not to visit Armas 🙂

Simply amazing

I came the estate off season, on a study visit with a Masters' student group from the Armenian Univ of Agriculture . We toured the vineyards and the winery and did have a (delightful) wine-tasting, though without the extra trappings normally included in scheduled tours (I believe that the restaurant kitchen is not operating this time of the year). The view from the tasteful dining room windows was a bit more drab than in the picture: the vineyards stand naked of foliage now. I can only imagine the splendor of other seasons of the year, when the ordinary tours take plac. But the Arararat did make its postcard appearance as per schedule.
Naturally, I cannot pass a judgement on meals included in a regular tour program. Yet, given the loving & almost uncanny attention to detail apparent in all we've seen- I feel I could vouch for their quality.
A well run wine estate is worthy of respect. What makes his one exceptional, indeed admirable, is the story behind it, the enormous motivation that made a well run wine estate emerge literally fr-om scratch- on a patch of barren wasteland, and getting an inkling of further goals, just beyond the horizon. Hearing all this this makes the trip worth it. Other delightful details- and there are a dozen are merely a garnish.

Must Visit
Sep 2018 • Family
I visited ArmAs with my family and friends. One of the best places I had ever been in Armenia. It is definitely a place you should experience. Our first impression was Hasmik, the local guide, a very passionate, knowledgeable and sweet young lady who showed us the vineyards, the winery and introduced the wines in a very professional way with a fluent english. Her love and smile created a very hospitable atmosphere. We absolutely enjoyed the day and the yummy food they offered. We were amazed how modern and high standard everything was.
Thank you ArmAs for the great experience.

Spectacular winery to visit!
Sep 2018 • Couples
When we were on our way for the first visit to ArmAs, from the far it appeared as a green oasis in the middle of an arid, stony land. Once we passed the entry gates, our impressions greatly exceeded the expectations. The views from the restaurant were truly breathtaking, the food was good, complemented by their wines. On our lunch and tour package we spent almost four hours enjoying ourselves at the winery, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, touring the winery, watching how the workers were cheerfully picking the grapes in the distance. I would highlight Hasmik's hospitality, that made us really feel welcome at ArmAs. I will definitely be back!
