The pool and the waterfalls are amazing and really something you should see when visiting la reunion. You have to park your car before the bridge, then walk over the bridge (which already gives you a great view) and then take the stairs on the right hand side after the bridge. As it‘s already been said: take all your valuables with you, our car has been opened without any visible marks and cash was stolen out of the wallets!

It was quite a drive to get to with a rather scary narrow road surrounded by sugar cane that makes it nearly impossible to see oncoming cars....but once you get there it is absolutely worth it. It truly feels as if you are stepping into the pages of a travel magazine. The water is crisp and clear with a beautiful waterfall. It was wonderful swimming!

From the parking area it is a steep short walk and then down some stairs to get to the bassin and there is quite a bit of space on the rocks. We arrived quite late, around 3:30pm and found many people were on their way out. It left us with a nice quiet experience. We took a swim, some photos and then followed the walking path higher up to another basin.

This is what blew our minds when viciting Reunion Island: the green, the mountains, the WATERFALLS! This one is so beautiful. A few streams tumble into a huge basin. We had a lovely picnic on the rocks next to the pool.

Don't leave anything in the car. The waterfalls are very pretty but take all your belongings with you.
