This museum is totally dedicated to "pysanka" eggs which is a big part of Ukrainian culture. It has eggs from all over the world. Also there's a huge egg monument at entrance, one of the very few in the world.
It will be interesting for people who wish to discover more about Ukrainian culture.

I really liked the place, if you know what you are going there for, you will difinitely enjoy!
For "non specialist', I recommed not going inside. Museum is very nice from outside, usually young people chill, dance and skateboard in front of it on a small square. Anyway, if you enjoy art as me, also Ester, drawing, handmaking, local traditions, you will find the magic of this museum for sure.

For me this was a worst place of visit during our trip to Ivano-Frankivsk region. Unfriendly staff for people with children in pram. There was separate entrance for disabled people and people with baby prams, but it was closed. Luckily, I was not alone, so husband went through normal entrance. However, they still did not open that entrance, and we had to carry it in with hands. Moreover, they told in rude voice not to forget to close the doors (we never forget them, were still in process of carrying in the child).
Exhibition was very poor. The one in Kiev is much greater (especially during Easter).
Would not recommend that.

But the building outside looks really great. I definitely think that all problems come from poor management.

A very interesting gem to find. Basically a museum to the art of the decorated egg. Currently undergoing some restoration but well worth a visit. 30 UAH per person.

This is without a doubt the best easter egg museum I have ever visited. Good for 15 minutes. Because of the lack of English I didn't really get everything, but the eggs are nice and kind of what you expect by seeing the exterior of the place.

Ukrainians have a tradition of panting pysankas or Easter Eggs. This is a museum dedicated to only that and is the world's largest museum of its kind. I am accustomed to seeing Easter eggs so it was the unique eggs that caught my eye: those from other countries, those made from eggs of other animals such as ostriches, etc. It is worth the visit.

You just walk down the street and see this huge Easter egg! It's pretty cool experience! Museum is full of all kinds of Easter eggs from all over the world! 3 floors worth of eggs! The oldest Easter egg is there too. Experienced guides, pleasant atmosphere, a lot to learn. I suggest to go with kids. You can touch the history, literally.
