This is the first ever elephant sanctuary I have visited. Loving the concept of breaking the cruel traditional entertainment using elephants in the past and also now. Also very friendly boss, tour guide, and everyone else from the centre, we truly enjoyed our time spent!...More

If you don't have a lot of time in Chiang Mai, try this half day tour to see and visit with the local elephants. The bathing of the younger elephants was so much fun. The playful elephants happily sprayed the tourists with river water. This...More

Simply amazing! Highly recommended. Our group was led by Adam, very knowledgeable. Inspiring mission to save these elephants. Very fairly priced 1800 baht - roughly $50 US dollars. Completely worth it . Lunch was great. Overall unforgettable trip

This is an unforgettable day to feed and bath the elephants. Everyone visiting Chiang Mai should go to Maeklang and support elephants conservation.

Before booking we did a lot of research to make sure it was not a tourist scam that only wanted to make money, so this one seemed to us the best place to visit. It is 1h30 min from Chiang Mai. The surroundings are beautiful...More
