Bosham Quay is part of Chichester Harbour. Paid for parking is available near the quayside. Do not park on the sand, as when the tide comes in your car will be under sea.
The views around the quay are splendid, especially looking towards the church and Anchor Blue pub. It is possible at certain times to walk around the quay. Then besides the views you’ll see swans, ducks, boats etc.
At certain times of the year wonderful sunsets can be seen as the sun reflects on the sea.
Highly recommended.

Unfortunately the tide was out when we visited so we were not able to see the unique features of the village when the sea laps the cottages and the boats were grounded in the mud rather than bobbing up and down. We walked around the quay in less than half an hour (there was an easterly wind) and spent the remaining time in the craft centre which had high quality items made of wood, glass and metal and a decent cafe serving homemade cakes etc. The public car park is well signposted and not expensive. It’s worth a visit if you are passing.

What a lovely part of the world. We visited mid September whilst the weather was still good to find this tranquil place. The tide was out during our visit so it was lovely to see all the wildlife seaching for food in the various water channels left by the outgoing water. Great for picnics i would imagine. There is a pub, coffee shop and a craft centre. Would we rdturn, YES.

We visited this pretty little village on our way back to Emsworth from Chichester and were surprised at how busy it was. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the beautiful weather and many were swimming and boating. Beware the tide comes well in and you could easily find your car under water if you are not careful!! A very pretty little village, unfortunately the village church was not open but looked quite attractive from the outside. Worth a short visit if in the area.

We visited here twice. Once when it was overcast with the tide out and once when it was sunny/blue skies with the tide in. What a different experience each time! Each experience brilliant for different reasons. It is a fascinating place and beautiful and quaint. On the second visit when the tide comes in a lot of swans and geese came to the waters edge, prob alt used to getting fed. We had a roast dinner in a local pub which was delicious. Great place to visit

We went to Bosham on 17th March by bus from Chichester .Lovely village which has roads which get flooded at high tide.we were there midday and ate at great local pub at 1pm .After meal we wandered around the Quay for a couple of hours exploring and crossed from one side of bay to the other on path that is under water at high tide.We felt like Moses crossing the Red sea ! Bosham is a must visit area.We visited The Spit West Wittering next day that was great as well .Different places have different attractions we enjoyed both visits .Variety is the spice of life!

A lovely part of Chichester Harbour with winding narrow streets to explore and a lovely church. There are a few shops , pubs and cafes . Parking is alongside the shoreline (when low tide), but the inexpensive nearby Pay & Display is recommended.
Enjoyable second visit.

It was a treat to stroll the shoreline enjoying the bird life and yachting activities and we did well to make an early start, for by the time we left, visitor numbers had increased. The views are spectacular, and at low tide you can cross from one side to the other on a causeway which is fun. Ever changing scenery and friendly chats with early day dog walkers added to our enjoyment.

The quay is located in a historic and pretty Village located in West Sussex.
There is a nice foot path to walk around the quay.
Even though we visited on a weekend and it was busy with tourists we found the area to be peaceful.
There are a few coffee shops near by and places to pick up an ice cream cone as well as good cafes and restaurants.

A delightful village that we have visited many times and have never tired of. The Saxon Church, the quay, the tea room by the slip and the local craft centre add to the walks around the harbour with its views. The upper creek setting was the inspiration for the start of the thriller 'A Cast of Hawks'.

Hi, as far as I am aware there is no path running along the Fishbourne Channel so you would have to use the road down to the Hoe. I maybe wrong, as you can make some ground northward towards Fishbourne from the Hoe but I do not know how much as there are a number of private houses with water fronts too.

I guess you could as long as you were aware of the tide. I didn't see any signs to say one can't launch from there.

Are there any BandBs near by or hotels. Love the village so much. Would be beautiful to be able to stay.

Yes there is one - very popular and quite up-market hotel (the name escapes me) and the village has holiday lets and some B&Bs. I would imagine it gets booked up very quickly in high season and when there are events in the vicinity such as the Goodwood Festival of Speeed.
