I was here when some local children were shepherd horses and goats. They're friendly and cheerful, and more importantly, they are not asking for money like some children in touristy area might act. The green savanna is vast and you can look at rice fields below from the edge of the cliff.

It should be better if there is a well-planned and well-built shelter for visitors can enjoy the beautiful panoramic view better

Went here early in the morning to catch the sunrise. It was worth waking up early for. Grab your jacket though, it's a bit chilly in the morning. Watch for some holes in the ground as it has some history behind it. They were said to be created during Japanese colonization era.

I biked here with some locals from Mai La Humba guesthouse in Lambanapu-Mauliri. The ride was through the villages, across the river on a rickety bridge with cows, horses and pigs along the way. Plus the very friendly locals greeting us. Getting to the top of the hill was a bit strenuous but the view was so worth it. The green rice paddies below with the hills all around were just stunning. The sunset off in the distance only added to the magic. It wasn't very crowded as it was a Friday but I was told it's very busy on Saturday and Sunday. Definitely worth the effort. Mai La Humba provided the bicycles and the locals were 2 twenty somethings who work there. They were super friendly and very willing to share their stories along with tidbits about the local area. Payment was on a volunteer basis. The Guesthouse is near the Tenun Ikat shop of Mr. Kornelis Ndapakamang whose textiles are beautiful and well made. If you are looking for a good all around day, visit his shop around 3, buy some stuff, sit with him and have coffee, then depart at 4 on the bikes to make the Hill before sunset. Amazing experience.
