We took the ordinary boat, they provided life jackets, though it was sunny, it was pretty cool, the rower even gave chance for us to pedal the boat. We missed the island. It is best to visit them in the mornings.

The answer given by Sri. Ram Ganesa is right; but, the cab rate may be higher. May be , one can check with the Tourism dept. Sundar

I suggest you do not. Though the water is not deep, sun or rain can harm such an young infant.There are no medical facilities nearby in case of emergency. Please do not venture and take such a big risk. Pichavaram will... More
