With my stay in Karatu i booked the elephant caves with Agama Tours and went excellent We did easy hiking and we enjoyed the beauty of the forest

We liked the walk as a change after 4 dusty days in other parks. It is fairly easy to walk even though you should wear solid shoes as there are some up and down parts. Our guide explained quite a lot during this 2 hours...More

Awesome caves and carvings. But no Elephants. The weather was a bit windy so the boat ride over was scary for some.cost to was reasonable. Cost for foreigners to get into the national park was i think 500 Indian rupee.for non foreigners it was cheep....More

Was a nice walking trip like 3-4 hours, beautiful coffee plantation view on the way to the caves also we got a chance to see same small animals like vevet monkey around

It is a very nice half-day trip where you walk in the Park with a ranger and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. You will see a beautiful water fall, the caves where the elephans with their tusks dig for salt etc. It can be very warm...More

There is a Park Fee to go in. I have forgotten the amount but I think it was around $15 USD. We also paid the walking guide. I am not sure if it is worth it but it was good to get out for a walk after being in Safari trucks... More
